Trying to earn what was given as a gift. #2

 Mark 8:34-36
“When Jesus had called the people to Himself, with His disciples also, He said to them, "Whoever desires to come after Me, let him deny himself, and take up his cross, and follow Me. For whoever desires to save his life will lose it, but whoever loses his life for My sake and the gospel’s will save it. For what will it profit a man if he gains the whole world, and loses his own soul?.”

Picture
Paul said he was not ashamed of the Gospel. Why? “For it is the power of God unto salvation to every one that believeth; to the Jew first, and also to the Greek.” The Gospel is the power of God, and that’s talking about grace. Acts 20:24 and Galatians 1:6 both use the terms “gospel” and “grace” interchangeably. It’s saying that when you understand the Gospel, or the grace of God, it’ll release the power of God into your life.

The next verse in Romans 1 says,
For therein is the righteousness of God revealed from faith to faith: as it is written, The just shall live by faith.

Notice that righteousness is not revealed from Law to Law, from good deed to good deed—it’s revealed from faith to faith.

Sin won’t stop the power of God for salvation in your life but trusting in your own good works will.

That’s what “the righteousness of God is revealed from faith to faith” means. You receive the righteousness of God by grace through faith (Eph. 2:8) God won’t withdraw His power because of sin in your life. That’s why it’s nearly-too-good-to-be-true news.

When you talk like this, people with a religious mindset immediately say, “Well, what about sin? This sounds like you’re just giving people a license to sin.”

Last I checked, people were sinning without a license!

ACTION STEP:  We can't earn what has already been given--yet we try. Many of us spend our life trying to do just that--earn what we have already been given. When we don't know we have what we are looking for, we will keep looking for it. Seriously, have you ever been looking for your glasses and they were in your head? Ever looked for your phone and you were on it? This is what many Christians do, they look for God all around them, rather than develop their relationship with Jesus Christ...who lives and moves throughout the earth through them.

God wants to use you.

I believe in you and you need to believe in yourself.

Trying to earn what was given as a gift #1

Ephesians 2:8-9
"For by grace you have been saved through faith. And this is not your own doing; it is the gift of God, not a result of works, so that no one may boast."

Picture
The Gospel is the most basic, foundational message of the New Testament, yet it’s the most misunderstood. Today’s religious system is not preaching the same Gospel that Paul did. They mix it with the Law, and that isn’t the Gospel at all.

The book of Romans was written to explain the Gospel so that anybody could understand it. Paul, the writer, made it so simple that you’d have to have somebody help you to misunderstand it.

Paul started off with this statement in Romans 1:16:
For I am not ashamed of the gospel of Christ: for it is the power of God unto salvation to everyone that believeth; to the Jew first, and also to the Greek.

That is a radical statement. This word “gospel” in the original Greek is a word that was seldom used at the time this was written.

Nobody talked this way, because the word literally means nearly-too-good-to-be-true news. It referred to news that was so awesome, nothing really justified using it. Nothing was nearly too good to be true.

Preparation-5 of 5 Stages of Preparation.

II Timothy 2:15
“Study to show yourself approved unto God, a workman that needs not to be ashamed, rightly dividing the word of truth.”
Picture
Everyday the alarm clock goes off most people have a decision to make. They can decide to hit the snooze button or get up, work on making their dream a reality, work on that plan they have to achieve that goal, or just do nothing. Most people choose the latter. The just do nothing button means we are on our feet, we are going through the motions, but nothing is changing. Nothing is changing because we take us wherever we go and we are not changing. We are truly dead men walking. We get up, get ready, do what we need to do before we are out the door and then like a mindless machine we head out the door and drive to work the same path we do everyday. Then, at the end of the day, we retrace our steps and start the evening routine only to fall into bed and get up and repeat the same the next day. Most are not happy but, fail to do anything any differently.

If this is you, don't feel bad. Feel glad, you realize the processionary caterpillar syndrome and you are willing to do something to change it. We are not meant to walk around in circles.  We are meant to walk on streets of gold.
ACTION STEP: What are you waiting for? Start the process now. If you're already on your way, I am praising God with you and for you. God needs an army, and He is raising His army up for such a time as this. In an army, everyone has their own job to do, even though they all march together; and answer to one Commander in Chief. That's you and I. We are being processed for the promise if, we are yielding ourselves to the process.

Many will spend the day shopping. Many will wander the aisles of department stores looking for the perfect gift. One of the greatest gifts we can receive or give, is the gift of being our genuine self. The problem? Not many know their true self or their genuine call upon their life. That can change, if they want it to. It can change if you want it to and find out the "How to's." And, it is not just the want to. We all have want to's. The difference is some of us go from having "Want to's" to "Have to's" to taking the action steps needed to be the "Get to's," that actually receive what they go after. My prayer is for you and those you love to be that, and have that gift to give this new year.

Remember, I believe in you and you need to believe in yourself.

Happy Thanksgiving.
Picture
In all things give thanks...not just on Thanksgiving Day, but every day, in every stage of life. The "Teen" years can be tough. There are a lot of outside voices and influences, that try to steal our true purpose for which we were created. Circumstances and situations, try to deter us from our destinies. This is why we need a coach. We need someone to help us, to help ourself stay on track; and continue to make the climb up the hill of success, satisfaction, and self-discovery.

I am a certified coach with America's #1 Confidence coach and soon to be graduating with my doctorate from Destiny College. I have learned so much and desire to share with you, what made the difference in my life. So, if your interested in making the decision to get a coach contact me at www.renaperozich.com. It's amazing what we can do, when we have clarity, a plan, and a strategy.

I hope you take time for self care and self investment today. I realize it is a busy day with lots of things to do but, if we don't take care of oneself we can not take care of others. Here is a link to the video below: https://youtu.be/QRrVy7EbWDs
ACTION STEP: Enjoy your day with family and friends. Be thankful. Play games. But, remember to live a balanced life and when you get up in the morning go back at it! In order to choose your profession, sometimes we need some help figuring out what we want to do with our life. Knowing we don't know something is a great place to start. Why? Because, then we are open to doing the hard work at getting that question answered.

Thankful to someone in your life? Give them the gift of a coach for a month, 3 months or the best deal 6 months. They will thank you. And, if your not sure what your next step should be in 2022 then, invest in yourself. Make the commitment to become a better, more original you and the world will thank you. Who knows? They may even pay you for it?

Check me out at www.renaperozich.com and make your appointment while you are there. Don't stay in the teenager stage, transition to the adult version and then, you maybe you can even teach others? Or at least lead the way!

Power over the enemy-3 of 5 Transitioning through life.

John 8:32
"Ye shall know the truth, and the truth shall set you free!"

Hosea 4:6
"My people perish for lack of knowledge."
Picture
Day one of our series we talked about the Nursery or Grandparent stage, then we visited the Preschool Room, today we are in the Children's Church classroom. We are using these rooms to illustrate the stages we transition through in life. The best way to grow through life is to be born again, and then get into the word and allow the word to get into us. We need faith to fulfill our destiny. Everyone starts out afraid, but faith drives out fear. And, faith only comes by hearing and hearing the word of God. Are you afraid? Get into the Word.

We often begin our life journey with faith, and even tell everyone what we are going to do when we grow up and become an adult. Then, we face opposition. Maybe, even someone laughs at our dream. So, we change it or forget it. We tell ourselves it doesn't matter. When in fact it does matter, and it matters a lot.

Most people don't know, I always wanted to be a news reporter. My Dad always told me I had a great smile, and would be a great Anchor Woman for our local TV station. I was determined. So, I went to college and began my studies. I loved my classes. But, then I met my husband--and he said, he didn't want to be married to a woman who went around the world with a briefcase.

Well, God is greater! Today, I go around the world telling the Good-News of Jesus Christ. I am the Lord's Anchor Woman. I share the news wherever He leads. No one makes fun of me now! My Boss pays great, and His benefits are in this world and in the world to come.

I tell people about the enemy of their life, but also, I teach, train and coach them to fulfill their destiny and maximize their potential. If you need help contact me and get started like I did with a Life Coach at www.renaperozich.com

Growing up -2 of 5 Transitioning through life stages.

1 Peter 2:1-25
"So put away all malice and all deceit and hypocrisy and envy and all slander. Like newborn infants, long for the pure spiritual milk, that by it you may grow up into salvation— if indeed you have tasted that the Lord is good. As you come to him, a living stone rejected by men but in the sight of God chosen and precious, you yourselves like living stones are being built up as a spiritual house, to be a holy priesthood, to offer spiritual sacrifices acceptable to God through Jesus Christ."

Picture
As the picture aboves so wonderful states, while growing up and transitioning through the stages of life we must be reminded to stay grounded, connect with our roots, turn over new leaves, and bend before we break. We are all unique and we can not compare our growth chart with someone elses!

Everybody loves babies! I often hear people say, "Oh, they just grow up too fast!" But, part of what makes babies so appealing is, that they are constantly growing and learning.

I enjoy planting a new tree, but the purpose for which I plant it is for it to grow up and produce shade or fruit.

Growing up is not an option for a Christian. Growing up is the definition of a Christian--a Christians grows to be like Christ. That's the goal in life. It's not easy growing up.

It's also not easy raising children. They often do not want to do what they are told, makes messes, talk back, become messy and rebellious and the list goes on. The truth we know is that they will transition. Things won't be this way forever. We have a very small window in which to train up a child in the way that they should go. God knows the same with us. God is always working His will in our lives. He is the Potter and we are the clay.

ACTION STEP: Are you ready to take the warnings of Hebrews seriously? Hebrews chapter 7 warns us, "Grow or Die." A more positive application is to morph your mind into the mind of Christ. When it comes to Growing Up, it’s Morphing time!

Hebrews Chapter 7 ends with a wonderful assurance for anyone who is growing closer to Christ. Verses 18 and 19 tell us to, Take hold of the hope offered to us and be greatly encouraged. For we have this hope as an anchor for the soul, firm and secure." If you are growing up in Christ, you have nothing to fear. Hold on to Him. He is your anchor, firm and secure. Don't despise small beginnings, but grow up and get out of the baby chair.
So, I say stop drinking milk from a bottle. Get out your steak knives for some spiritual sirloin! Let’s Grow Up together and get some toughness into our testimony!

Maybe you don't know your purpose?

Door of Opportunity~1 of 5 Transitioning through life's stages.

 Revelation 3:8
"I know thy works: behold, I have set before thee an open door, and no man can shut it: for thou hast a little strength, and hast kept my word, and hast not denied my name."
Picture
We serve a God of open doors, when He opens a door no devil can shut it and when He closes a door, no devil can open it. An open door can be defined as doors of opportunities that leads to your success. The bible said the path of the just is like a shining light, that means, the path of every child of God is full of open doors of great opportunities. God speaks in Jeremiah 29:11, He has a plan of a great future for us His children, this shows that every child of God is ordained to have a bright future.

As a child of God, your future is bright, but you must contend for it by faith. This is because the devil will not let you have a great life without a fight. We are told in scriptures to fight the fight of faith, and in 1 John 5:4, we are told that our faith is what gives us the
victory
 over the devil.

In the stages of life we find each to have it's own work, frustrations and joys. Each stage is a process we only get to enjoy for the moment. Too often when we are raising our children, we think the stage will last forever. Lots of people check out in this stage. Divorce is high in this phase. Husbands and wives want to check out. I want to share with you soon to be 45 years of marriage advice, "It really does get better the longer you are married." We laughed Sunday, as I shared with my husband, "It's so great to have a book of history to share from. We have private jokes, sign language, cues, and many memories to make one another laugh and sometimes cry. Enjoy the stage your in because one thing is certain, it is sure to change. So, make the most of the moments.

ACTION STEP:
When God opens a door He will never cause you to compromise or contradict His Word. Many times God will confirm His will through His Word and through others such as godly counsel.
Usually you know it’s an open door from God, when you have to rely on Him. Some people try to do things in the arm of the flesh, but when it’s God’s will, we must ask Him to bless the work of our hands.
We must ask Him to strengthen us and help us daily. If God doesn’t make a way there will be no way. Seek first God’s Kingdom. Open doors will strengthen your prayer life and faith.
When it’s an open door, you know that it is God who is really at work. Once again, remember that the Holy Spirit will give you an uneasy feeling if He wants you to keep a door closed. Sometimes the door is a little cracked open and God just wants us to persevere in prayer.

I believe in you and you need to believe in yourself.

Luke 7:37-39
“When a woman who had lived a sinful life in that town learned that Jesus was eating at the Pharisee’s house, she brought an alabaster jar of perfume, 38 and as she stood behind him at his feet weeping, she began to wet his feet with her tears. Then she wiped them with her hair, kissed them and poured perfume on them. 39 When the Pharisee who had invited him saw this, he said to himself, "If this man were a prophet, he would know who is touching him and what kind of woman she is--that she is a sinner.”

Love Languages 4 of 5 ~Words of Affirmation

11/18/2021

Words are powerful, they give expression to the abstract in ways that a single image cannot.
The primary way we communicate is through words. Words have specific meanings – and we must us them correctly.
Picture
Words are not simply sounds caused by our mouths shaping air passing through our larynx. Words have real power. God spoke the world into being by the power of His words (Hebrews 11:3). Humans are made in God's image, and our words also have power. To be clear, human words do not have the power to manifest reality. But our words do more than convey information; they have an impact on people The power of our words can burden one’s spirit, even stir up hatred and violence. Words can exacerbate wounds and inflict them directly. Alternately, words can build up and be life-giving (Proverbs 18:21; Ephesians 4:29; Romans 10:14–15). Of all the creatures on this planet, only humans have the ability to communicate through the spoken word. The power to use words is a unique and powerful gift from God.

Our words have the power to destroy and the power to build up (Proverbs 12:6). The writer of Proverbs tells us, “The tongue has the power of life and death, and those who love it will eat its fruit” (Proverbs 18:21). Are we using words to build up people or destroy them? Are they being filled with hate or love, bitterness or blessing, complaining or compliments, lust or love, victory or defeat? Words are tools that can make life better, but any tool can be misused.

Words are so important that we are going to give an account of what we say when we stand before the Lord Jesus Christ. Jesus said, “But I tell you that men will have to give account on the day of judgment for every careless word they have spoken. For by your words you will be acquitted, and by your words you will be condemned” (Matthew 12:36–37).

The apostle Paul wrote, “Do not let any unwholesome talk come out of your mouths, but only what is helpful for building others up according to their needs, that it may benefit those who listen” (Ephesians 4:29). The Greek word translated “unwholesome” means “rotten” or “foul” and originally referred to rotten fruit and vegetables. Vulgar humor, dirty jokes, and foul language have no place in the life of a Christian. Instead, our speech is to be characterized by “only what is helpful for building others up according to their needs, that it may benefit those who listen” (cf. Colossians 3:16; 4:6). Helpful, edifying, meeting needs, and beneficial—these are our descriptive goals for the words we use.

ACTION STEP:

“Be careful with your words. Once they are said, they can be only forgiven, not forgotten.”
“O Lord, keep our hearts, keep our eyes, keep our feet, and keep our tongues.” – William Tiptaft
“Words are free. It’s how you use them, that may cost.”

“Words can inspire. And words can destroy. Choose yours well.”

Love Languages 3 of 5~Gift Giving.

11/17/2021

John 3:16
"For God so loved the world, that he gave his only Son, that whoever believes in him should not perish but have eternal life."

2 Corinthians 9:7
"Each one must give as he has decided in his heart, not reluctantly or under compulsion, for God loves a cheerful giver."

James 1:17
"Every good gift and every perfect gift is from above, coming down from the Father of lights with whom there is no variation or shadow due to change."

Picture
Giving gifts is one of the oldest expressions of love. It is practiced in most parts of the world and has become a tradition for many cultures. Milestones, anniversaries, celebrations, and even simple occasions call for gift-giving. These can range from small tokens to surprise deliveries and valuable stuff. Gift-giving is “speaking” our love through presents.

Some people might think that this love language is equivalent to materialism. It’s not. For people who speak this love language, it's not the monetary value of the gift that is the most important. It's the intention behind the gift. The act of giving gifts is the language itself, from the time and resources you've put in choosing the best one to how you handed the gift, and beyond.

If you're wondering whether your partner's primary love language is receiving gifts, here are some telltale signs:

1. He or she is also a gift-giver.
2. Your partner enjoys giving gifts and does well in picking lovely personalized gifts for every occasion.
3. He or she enjoys shopping. It's more like a treat for them than a task.
4. Your partner values the gifts you give him or her. Even though those things were from decades ago!

Here is the link to the YouTube video below:
https://youtu.be/bVmoVO6WjX0
ACTION STEP: The most surefire way to find out if your partner’s love language is gifts, though, is to ask them. If speaking the gifts love language doesn’t come naturally to you, it’s still important to try learning the language since it’s the one your partner speaks.

The reason I am doing all these Love Languages is I've been asked by many people to explain these especially around this time of year when many are searching for gifts for those they love.

With thousands of items to choose from, finding the perfect gift for your partner can be extra challenging. It might take you a bit of time, but once you find the right gift, it’s going to be worth it. If you’re clueless about how and where to start, check out these popular gift ideas for men and women:
  • You’ve heard it since time immemorial - diamonds are girls’ best friend. When it comes to women's gifts, you won't find a resource not talking about diamonds. All women love diamond jewelry, whether it's a simple gold necklace, an elegant ring, a pair of stud earrings, or a statement diamond bracelet. What’s more, diamonds have always been associated with love. It’s known as the universal symbol of “eternal love”, “commitment”, and “marriage.” It's always a good idea to make your loved one feel like she's the most stunning woman in the world by making her dazzle in her diamond jewelry.
  • Who says jewelry gifts are only for women? If your partner’s language of love is gift-giving, he’ll definitely appreciate a beautiful piece of jewelry too. Men's rings, necklaces, beaded bracelets, leather cords, and luxury watches are among the most popular picks. Accessories like shoes, scarves, men’s ties, and wallets are also great options. When it comes to gifts, men pay more attention to the quality of the item more than anything else.
Everyone’s language of love is different. Some prefer physical touch, others acts of service. Some people choose “quality” time, others like words of affirmation. For most people, their language of love is receiving or giving a gift. Gift-giving is an ancient tradition in many parts of the world. The act of shopping for the perfect item, wrapping it, and handing/delivering it to the person makes it special and memorable. It’s easy to know if your partner’s language of love is receiving gifts. But the real challenge is finding the perfect piece.
Thankfully, there are staples in the gifting world that men and women are bound to love, regardless of their age or personality. For women, it’s diamond jewelry that symbolizes “eternal love”. For men, it can be anything from jewelry to high-quality clothing and apparel.
What’s your love language? What about your partner’s? Consider applying the secret language of relationships and you will be amazed at how it can transform your marriage and friendships.
