John 1:14 KJV
“And the Word was made flesh, and dwelt among us, (and we beheld his glory, the glory as of the only begotten of the Father,) full of grace and truth.”

Many of us, myself including are wishing this storm was over. This COVid19 had a lot of boats rocking. We may even doubt whether on not Jesus cares that we are perishing. It seems as though He is asleep. Like the disciples we need to raise our voices as one and call out to the Master. He hears our cry. In Exodus 3:7 the Bible tells us He heard the cries of the oppression of His people when they were in Egypt, He heard their distress. Then in Genesis 33 the story of Jacob and Esau. Over and over throughout the Word of God we have examples of God intervening in the affairs of men, when they cry out to Him.

Today, is a day that we are in distress and we need to cry out to the Lord--that He would hear our cry; and answer us. Cry out to Him in your distress over the loss of lives, the loss of jobs, the loss of the ability to travel to work, school, funerals, and weddings. The losses have been tremendous and we have only scratched the surface. Cry out--He is as close as the mention of His Name.

ACTION STEP: Fear not. Where is your faith? The Bible tells us, when HE comes back (which means He will) will He find any faith? The only way for us to have to faith is to hear the Word of God, because faith only comes by hearing--and hearing the Word. Get into the Word today. Put on a CD, turn on an MP3, or Podcast of someone reading the Word. Just let the Word of God fill the atmosphere wherever you are. Listen to the Word with a headset while you sleep. Purchase the Bible being read in a version you enjoy. There are many to choose from. You can hear the Bible read with music in the back ground, or in a reenactment. If you are in fear begin to starve it, by refusing to feed it. Then, feed your faith! It will grow and you won't have to wake up the Word in your storm. No. You will speak to the storm and it will calm. This is your year to say what you want--not what you see. We walk by faith and not by sight.

Job 22:21 (NIV)
“Submit to God and be at peace with him;
    in this way prosperity will come to you."

I want to encourage you today that God is for us, not against us. God promises no weapon formed against us will prosper, but we must believe the Word of God. We must believe in our hearts and not just our heads, that the Word of God is true. We can not waiver in our faith and what we believe. The Bible tells us that a double-minded man is unstable in all his ways. (James 1:8)

To be double-minded is the same as having a "double heart." (1 Chron.12:33, Ps. 12:2) When life is unstable the mind is unsettled, and lacks solid convictions. This is why it is so important to read the Bible and study it, understand it and memorize scripture. We can't put our faith in man. (Pr.25:19) We also can't have faith in man and in God at the same time. (James 4:8b) As christians we must have faith in God alone and trust in Him. We love others--but we trust God. No where in the Bible does it tell us to trust men, and that means women too. It says, "Trust God."

My Spiritual Father sent me this video yesterday. It is the same message I have been preaching since November. God tells us in His Word, "Surely the Lord God does nothing, Unless He reveals His secret to His servants the prophets." (Amos 3:7 NKJV) God has been speaking to us and we need to believe and obey. I shared that this year is the Hebrew Year "Pey". The meaning of this is essentially the year to say--to open our mouth, and declare the Word of the Lord over and to every situation and circumstance. We all need to agree and speak with authority given to us by Jesus Christ, "COVid19 die in the name of Jesus!" Then, continue to confess the Word of God over our nation, our president, the world, and continue to say it until we see it. We can not doubt in our hearts and believe we receive. No. We must know beyond a shadow of doubt this virus is not from God but from satan. Satan came to steal, kill and destroy. Jesus came that we might have life. (John 10:10)

Take a few minutes and watch this video. God has warned us. God is for us.
ACTION STEP: Feed your faith and starve your doubts to death. Get into the Word and allow the Word of God to get inside of you. There is a better day coming. Every knee will bow before the Lord. COVID19 will bow it's knee, it is not stronger than the power of God. People are recovering! There is hope. Don't waste your days worrying but reading His Word. God's got this and He loves you. Be sure you are in the house. Allow the death angel to pass over during this Passover.
